Files in this directory contain temporal correlations of time histories
extracted from direct numerical simulations of statistically-stationary 
homogeneous shear turbulence. 

Each MAT file is named by the index of a simulation, which is given in
the table stats_HST.txt in the folder /turbdata/HST/stats/statistics.
Before computing correlation, time histories are interpolated with 
constant time interval (mean history recording frequency) and their mean 
values are substracted. Correlations are computed mwith MATLAB function 
xcorr. Please read MATLAB documents for more information.

Contents: 
Ku : Kurtosis of the time histories sqrt(<u^2>)(t). <*> means volume
     average of *. The same definition for Kv and Kw. 
Rez: Reynolds number SLz^2/nu.
Axz: streamwise aspect ratio Lx/Lz.
Ayz: spanwise aspect ratio Ly/Lz.
t0 : the time lag in shear unit, in the range [-50 50].
Cxx: self-correlation, x=u,v,w,p,d, note that p means production, NOT 
     pressure and d means dissipation.
Cxy: cross-correlation between x and y, Cxy=xcorr(y,x,'coeff').
