HOM23: HOMOGENEOUS TURBULENT SHEAR FLOW
From: Rogers & Moin 1987 J. Fluid Mech., vol. 176, pp. 33-66.
The different runs are defined by:

Files:
------
Single-point velocity statistics: ASCII
----------------------------------------
hom23*U.dat, where *=(u, v or x) is one of the runs above.
Note that runs R and S are equivalent to U, except for the scalar.
These files contain <u_i u_j> and dissipation vs. dimensionless time S.t
Axes are: x_1: streamwise, x_2: across shear, x_3: spanwise
Integral length scales: ASCII
--------------------------------
hom23*L.dat, where *=(u, v or x) is one of the runs above.
Note that runs R and S are equivalent to U, except for the scalar.
These files contain L_ij;k vs. dimensionless time S.t,
where L_ij;k is the integral scale based on the correlation of
<u_i u_j> along direction x_k
Short distance correlation functions: Binary files with ASCII header
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The .bin files listed below contain N records, each consisting of a
(33,33,33,7) array
N
---
C128R.bin 9 (St=0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16)
C128S.bin 7 (St=0,2,4,6,8,14,16) (10 and 12 unavailable)
C128U.bin 9 (St=0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16)
C128W.bin 14 (St=2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28)
C128X.bin 8 (St=0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14)
Each array contains the two-point correlation R(r_x,r_y,r_z,comp),
where r_x, r_y, and r_z range from -16 delta to +16 delta, delta being
the "grid spacing" in that particular direction.
delta_x = 0.07792 delta_y = 0.03896 delta_z = 0.03896
Component: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
correspond to: u_1^2 u_2^2 u_3^2 u_1u_2 c^2 u_1.c u_2.c
where u_1, u_2, u_3 are the fluctuating velocity components, and c is
the scalar fluctuation resulting from a mean scalar gradient in the x_2 direction.
